First aid triage

Symptom → treatment quick reference for the injuries players run into most. Each row links to the matching items, liquids, status effects and vitals on this site.

How to use this page

Treat urgent rows first — blood loss, hemothorax, sepsis and brain damage kill faster than hunger. When in doubt, open the vitals page and check which meters are in warning or critical. Pair this with the getting-started guide for crafting order and layer prep.

Urgent — treat immediately

Apply a tourniquet to the limb (not head or torso), then dress wounds with antiseptic bandages or liquid.

Antiseptic

Sepsis

Urgent

Emergency antibiotics and antiseptic care on every affected limb. Monitor blood pressure and temperature.

vitalsSeptic shock, Body temperature, Consciousness

Inject procoagulant. Watch blood volume — internal bleeds drain fast without treatment.

Liquids:
Procoagulant

Use a chest drain on the upper torso — bandages alone will not clear fluid from the pleural cavity.

Low blood oxygen

Urgent

Check for hemothorax or lung injury first. Liquid relief (LRD) can help breathing while you treat the cause.

LRD

Protect the head with a helmet before further impacts. Braingrow injections can reverse early damage.

Liquids:
Braingrow

Treat soon

Glass / shrapnel wounds

Treat soon

Remove fragments if possible, disinfect the site, then bandage. Breaking windows without protection often causes these.

Liquids:
Antiseptic

Fractured limb

Treat soon

Stabilize with a splint or plastic bandage before moving. Pain slows you down and worsens mood.

Watch:
vitalsConsciousness

Plastic bandages stabilize the chest. Avoid heavy encumbrance and further impacts.

Apply antiseptic, antibiotics, or antiseptic mush to the limb. Untreated infections escalate to sepsis.

Liquids:
Antiseptic
Watch:
vitalsSeptic shock, Body temperature

Take antirad as soon as possible. Shift-hover barrels before drinking — irradiated water is labeled clean.

Liquids:
Antirad
Watch:
vitalsRadiation sickness

Eat, drink clean water, sleep if safe, and use mood stabilizers. Geofruit and Naptails help early.

Watch:
vitalsHunger (nutrition), Thirst (hydration)

Routine care

Clean with antiseptic before bandaging — dirty dressings raise infection risk.

Liquids:
Antiseptic
Watch:
vitalsBlood volume

Dirty / contaminated wounds

Routine

Disinfect before dressing. Oil, sewage, and environmental liquids on wounds accelerate infection.

Liquids:
Antiseptic

Pain (severe)

Routine

Morphine or bruise kits reduce pain enough to keep consciousness up while you treat underlying injuries.

Morphine

Full status effect list

Every moodle with in-game descriptions is on the status effects page. The first aid tutorial covers the in-game training course text if you want the full step-by-step walkthrough. For what to actually load into your syringes and blood bags, see the container refill guide. Curious why a moodle escalates when it does? See how health & mood actually work.
